The difference.

Volume, training pedigree, and the patients who trust both. The reasons other doctors send their family members here.

I.

Thousands of cases. Including the ones other surgeons won't take.

Since 2012, Dr. Pradhan has performed thousands of orthopedic surgeries — including the techniques most general orthopedists don't offer. Hip arthroscopy. Complex shoulder labral reconstruction. The bikini-incision anterior hip approach. The harder the case, the more time he's spent doing it.

II.

Trained where the techniques are made.

Medical degree at Vanderbilt. Sports medicine fellowship at Duke. Mentored by surgeons whose work set today's standard of care — and brought that toolkit back to Dallas.

III.

Trusted by NBA players, pros, and service members.

Patient roster includes NBA players, professional athletes, and active-duty service members. The kind of cases that don't allow for a Plan B.

IV.

The surgeon other surgeons call.

When the people who watch surgery for a living — physicians, hospital staff, surgical-equipment reps — need a surgeon themselves, they pick Dr. Pradhan. The people closest to the work are the people most often in his chair.

02

Three specialties. One surgeon.

Sports medicine, joint preservation, joint replacement — practiced at depth. Each carries its own approach to recovery, evidence, and expectations.

Meet Dr. Pradhan.

Board-certified orthopedic surgeon. Vanderbilt MD, Duke fellowship. In practice in Dallas since 2012.

The reason this practice exists in this form: a hospital is a beautiful, complicated machine — and an injured knee is a relationship, not a workflow. After six years as Chair of Orthopedics at Medical City Dallas, I built One Ortho to put the surgeon back at the center of that relationship.

My training is in sports medicine and complex reconstruction. The cases that interest me most live at the boundary between preservation and replacement — the runner with cartilage damage who's been told it's "bone-on-bone," the 58-year-old who wants to ski again, the patient on their second opinion. In every case, there's usually more than one good path forward — and my job is to help you find yours.

You always have options. My job is to help you find yours — and to deliver world-class outcomes when surgery is the answer.

Dr. Pradhan is totally engaged during all office visits, giving me the confidence that he is intently listening and presenting the best options for surgical success.
— Dave K. · Pre-operative consultation · 2023
He guided me through a knee replacement surgery that went amazingly smooth. After 7 weeks, I am up and walking, attending Physical Therapy and feeling almost back to normal.
— Sylvia C. · Knee Replacement · 2023
He performed arthroscopic surgery on my left shoulder to resolve chronic pain and weakness. My left shoulder is as good as new with zero pain. Now I have similar symptoms in my right shoulder, and wouldn't trust anyone other than Dr. Pradhan to fix it.
— Gary J. · Shoulder Arthroscopy · 2023
Dr. Pradhan always asks many questions to determine the problem and level of care. He listens well and treats his patients with respect. He does not promote unnecessary testing or treatments.
